Easy Financing

Shop Pay Installments can let eligible Canadian customers split an online Street Rides order into scheduled payments through Affirm. The plans available to you depend on the checkout total, eligibility review, province, and terms shown at checkout.

Use the calculator to test a budget scenario before shopping. It is a planning tool, not a financing offer or approval.

Payment planning tool

Estimate a payment before checkout

Test a monthly-payment scenario and compare it with the amount you want to keep available in your regular budget.

What this estimate means

The monthly scenario uses a standard amortizing-loan calculation. The four-payment preview divides the entered total into four equal payments and assumes 0% interest only for comparison.

This calculator does not apply for credit or quote financing terms. Final eligibility, APR, term, payment frequency, down payment, and total repayment come from Affirm at Shop Pay checkout.

Shop Pay Installments is powered by Affirm Canada Holdings Ltd. Rates can range from 0% to 31.99% APR, subject to provincial limits. Options require an eligibility check, depend on the purchase and term, and might not be available in every province or territory.

What to Check Before Choosing a Plan

  • Checkout total: Shopify currently lists eligible Canadian online orders from $35 to $30,000 CAD, including discounts, shipping, and taxes.
  • APR and borrowing cost: a lower monthly payment can cost more when the term is longer or the APR is higher.
  • Down payment: some purchases can require money at checkout.
  • Monthly buffer: leave room for maintenance, safety equipment, insurance where applicable, and unexpected expenses.
  • Product exclusions: gift cards and subscription products are not eligible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the calculator guarantee approval or an APR?

No. It calculates a scenario from the numbers you enter. Only Affirm can determine eligibility and show an actual APR, term, down payment, and payment schedule at checkout.

Is every Shop Pay Installments plan interest-free?

No. Some eligible plans can be interest-free, while monthly plans can include interest. Check the total repayment and borrowing cost shown by Affirm.

Are there late fees?

Shopify's current guidance says Shop Pay Installments does not add late fees or charges beyond any applicable interest. Your accepted agreement controls, so review it carefully.

What happens if I return my order?

Street Rides processes an approved return under the refund policy. Affirm then updates the payment plan or refund. Processing time can vary, so keep both the return confirmation and financing records.

Who helps with payment or loan questions?
