• Three-wheel confidence with real steering weight: The Triton adds low-speed stability and a cargo carrier, but it does not corner like a bicycle. Slow before turns, keep cargo centred and practise in a clear area. At 56 kg, unloading and final assembly are best handled by two people.
• Torque-sensing 500W assistance: The rear hub motor works with a torque sensor, so assistance responds to pedalling effort. Five assist modes let riders tune response, while the Shimano eight-speed drivetrain remains useful when conserving battery or climbing.
• A removable 720Wh battery: The 48V 15Ah Samsung-cell pack is removable and uses a 3A charger. Epic lists 48-80 km. The product page says 5-6 hours, while the manual allows up to 10 hours from low charge; charge time varies with remaining capacity and conditions.
• Hydraulic braking with a parking function: Front and rear hydraulic discs provide controlled stopping, and the parking-brake function matters on a three-wheel platform. The 20 x 4-inch tires and 90 mm front fork add comfort, but riders should avoid abrupt cornering and uneven side slopes.
