Safety Features

The Gladius uses adjustable regenerative braking, four speed modes, a deep-concave 33.5-inch deck, and wide CNC reverse-kingpin trucks. These aid stance and control but cannot prevent falls or wheel stops on debris.

Start with conservative acceleration and braking. Check wheels, bearings, truck hardware, enclosure, remote connection, and braking response before riding. Avoid wet surfaces and confirm local electric-skateboard rules.

Pros & Cons (Honest Verdict)

At 11 kg, the Gladius is substantially easier to carry than OMW's larger all-terrain boards. Its flexible composite deck, 105 mm wheels, wide trucks, and 504Wh Samsung pack suit urban carving and longer pavement rides.

The compact deck offers less stance room than a full longboard, the 45-55 km claim depends on conditions, and 105 mm urethane cannot match pneumatic tires on rough ground. Mist is currently sold out while the other Canadian colours remain available.

Should You Buy It?

The Gladius fits experienced urban riders who want real deck flex and useful range without carrying a 17 kg all-terrain board. Its deep concave and short wheelbase favour a more active stance.

Choose a pneumatic-wheel platform for loose terrain or heavily broken routes. Confirm colour stock and local riding access before ordering.
